Joshua Imoh

Joshua is an effective support staff in the Firm. He assists the Firm in sundry capacities including functioning as a litigation officer for the Disputes Resolution team. Furthermore, Joshua is a dedicated investigator and undertakes discreet investigations on anticounterfeiting and IP infringements issues, market searches, document verification and business intelligence for our diverse clients.

On the policy side, Amala was a member of the technical committee that provided support to the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) chaired by the Vice President of Nigeria, (through Enabling Business Environment Secretariat) on issues relating to ease of doing business in Nigeria. He specifically served as a member of the technical committee that reviewed the IP Laws portion of the proposed Business Facilitation Bill (also known as the Omnibus Bill). Amala also served on the World Bank assisted committee that provided support to the Enabling Business Environment Secretariat on crafting an insolvency framework for Nigeria. This birthed the insolvency regime as contained in the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020. Amala regularly contributes to the World Bank Doing Business booklet.
